A. CEP is an alternative to collecting, approving, and verifying household eligibility applications for Free and Reduced-price eligible students in high-poverty local education agencies (LEAs) for schools participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs.

B. The Online CEP Evaluation and Application Module remains open for evaluation year-round. The CEP application for SY25-26 is closed. The CEP application will open on April 1, 2026, for the SY26-27 elections. The deadline for CEP application submission for SY26-27 will be June 30, 2026.
